The Town of Bogue is asking the Carteret County Commissioners to change the tax distribution from ad valorem levies to per capita levies; that could mean our town would receive a more equitable share of the sales tax money the county collects. The County Commissioners have their next regular meeting on March 15th, 2021, at 6:00 pm in the Commissioners boardroom at 302 Courthouse Square in Beaufort.
